Brother Worley served over 10 years at the Aberdeen, MD congregation as a Teacher, Worship Leader, and Evangelist. In 2011, Brother Worley revived the congregation's evangelism effort by establishing the "Boots on the Ground Campaign," where members of the body conduct outreach efforts in the Harford County area evangelizing for Christ.
Brother and Sister Worley worked on the Aberdeen congregation's first-ever region-wide ladies day event, "Virtue in an Age of Promiscuity," which has now become an annual event in the Mid-Atlantic region, celebrating 6 years of dedicated service to educating women and ladies of all ages on virtuous living, and the importance of upholding those standards in the Church of Christ.
The Worley family placed membership with the Church of Christ in East Baltimore in March of 2016 where Brother Worley continued his ministerial duties there as a member of the Radio Ministry Evangelism Program, “Search the Scriptures” (which is broadcast every Saturday on WWIN, Spirit 1400 AM), a coordinator for Community Outreach, and a Pulpit Minister at-large.
Brother Worley is the evangelist/minister of the Church of Christ in Sandtown, and he and his family have been evangelizing the Sandtown-WInchester and Harlem Park communities since 2015. In that time, they have conducted Bible studies and baptized several into the Lord's Body. Brother Worley is a graduate of the University of Maryland, University College, in College Park, Maryland where he holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. He is currently enrolled at the Northeast Baltimore Bible College and Institute, in Baltimore, Maryland, in the Bible Ministry Degree Program (Pulpit Ministry Degree). Brother and Sister Worley have two adult children, DeVron (wife, Shameka) and Ayanna, daughter Enomi, and two grandchildren, Amaria and Christopher.
Brother Davis Worley was baptized into the body of Christ in 1981, at the Kishwaukee Church of Christ, Rockford, Illinois by Brother Louis McGowan (Evangelist/Minister). He then went on to serve his country enlisting into the United States Marine Corps, where he served on active duty for over 20 years. Brother Worley and his wife, of 14 years, Dr. Tracy L.F. Worley, are active members of the Lord's Church.
